State Financing
State financing is available through Green Jobs-Green New York (GJGNY) for energy efficiency improvements. In order to qualify you must first have a home energy assessment done that observes energy services are needed.
Loans are available for the following programs:
- EmPower
- Residential Energy Assessment Program and Comfort Home Pilot
- NY-Sun
- NYS Heating and Cooling
- PSE&G Home Comfort Program
Residential financing options are also available to those who qualify through home assessment and services undertaken. Homeowners may qualify for loans up to $25,000, with any loans over $13,000 required to be paid back within 15 years.
Loans available are:
- On-bill Recovery Loan
- Smart Energy Loan
- Renewable Energy Tax Credit Bridge Loan
